Jihad and Militant Islam: Understanding Its Roots and Responding with the Gospel

This book presents the historical underpinnings for the use of jihad and traces its use to the current times.  By understanding this history of jihad, the reader will have greater context for understanding current events in the Muslim world. Just as the Apostle Paul tuned from a persecutor of the Church to a passionate missionary who spread the Good News of Jesus throughout modern-day Turkey and ultimately still impacts the Church today, we pray that jihadists would come to know the saving grace of Jesus and become pastors and church leaders who will passionately share the Good News of Jesus where they once spread terror.
